Riverbank & Town Beach Walkway

Start at Taruheru River or Midway Beach and follow the path all the way to the beach (2.5km) or make it as long or short as you want. A flat and easy walk.

Young Nicks Head

A 5.6km walk up Young Nicks Head, fringed with native trees to reach panoramic views of Muriwai and Tairāwhiti. The track is closed during lambing season. You may need to ask for permission as the track crosses through private land.
